In April this year Expom S.A. became a partner of the social information campaign "Accident Prevention" coordinated by the Central Institute for Labour Protection - PIB. The first campaign-related action planned by Expom S.A. was a seminar on "Safety during business trips" held on April 25th and organized on the occasion of the "World Day for Safety and Health at Work." |

EXPOM S.A. representatives participated in the Asia Pacific Maritime Conference & Exhibition held on 14-16th March in Singapore. EXPOM S.A. has been for several years producing the most modern compact boat davits for the Norwegian company NOREQ which has patented this type of construction. We plan further development within the shipping industry, where the major players, owning nearly 92% share in world ships production, are China, South Korea and Japan. The intention of the visit to the conference and exhibition in Singapore, attended by about 1,300 companies from over 50 countries, was to establish new trading relationships that would result in future orders for EXPOM. |

Expom S.A. summed up sales results for 2011 and announced a new, short-term development strategy. Last year the Company reached revenue at the level of over 22 million PLN. Profit on sales amounted to 0.9 million PLN and net profit 1.2 million PLN. For 2012 revenue on the level of 25 million PLN and net profit amounting to 1.7 million PLN was planned. It is already known that the first quarter of 2012 will bring orders with the value exceeding 1.3 million EUR. The company strategy focuses on most perspective branches: renewable energy, exploration and extraction of shale gas, power driven vehicles and atom energy.

The Company obtained the patent for the impact crusher invented by the company, adjusted to crushing over-sized excavated material lumps, coming from carbon wall and transported with a push-plate conveyor, at which it is installed

The new year in Expom S.A. from Kurzętnik started with good news for the employees. From 1 January 2012 they received pay rise of 5-8% of remuneration. Total cost to be incurred by the company due to pay rise amounts to approx. PLN 400 thousand.

In the end of November Expom S.A. completed the implementation of Industrial Safety and Hygiene Management System according to Polish standard PN-N-18001:2004 and international standard OHSAS 18001:2007. The project was being realized for the past 5 months and was completed with the audit performed by Polish Centre for Research and Certification [Polskie Centrum Badań I Certyfikacji SA]. Total cost of implementation amounts to 68,000.00 PLN. The new system complemented the quality and environment management systems already existing in the company, constituting the complete Integrated Management System. |

Between 15 to 18 November 2011, Expom S.A. participated as an exhibitor at the World’s Leading Industrial Subcontracting Show MIDEST 2011. During the fair, representatives of the Company established promising relations with Areva company concerning cooperation in production of the equipment for nuclear power plants.

Modernization plan established by the Company’s Board of Directors for 2011 anticipated the overhaul of the boiler house along with assembly of the so called biomass fired furnace as well as renewal of a part of the central heating system. Total cost of purchase of the heating furnace and modernization of the boiler house amounted to net 140 000 PLN. In addition, cost of the heating system modernization in the production buildings amounted to net ca. 70 000 PLN.

Between 7 and 11 November 2011 in Huston, Texas (USA) the most important event connected with searching for and extraction of shale gas took place - World Shale Gas Conference & Exhibition. Jacek Banach, the President of the Management Board of Expom SA, participated in this event because of intensive development of the company within this sector of industry. The trip, organized by Chesapeake Energy, to shale gas field Haynesville (near San Augustine) where Mr. Banach had a chance of observing drilling rigs in operation and the site of extraction of shale gas on an industrial scale, was one of more interesting attractions of the conference. |

In November Expom SA from Kurzętnik commenced the supply of hot energy meals for its employees. Approximately 130 persons employed by the company are subject to the initiative. Total monthly cost of meals which will be served from November 2011 to March 2012 amounts to over PLN 9 thousand gross.

Expom SA, a company in the metal industry, closed the third quarter with a net profit of PLN 0.9 million. It is already evident that the annual result will exceed the forecast; at the moment just PLN 100,000 off the amount planned in the 2011 budget. The final profit will most likely exceed the forecast by about 20%. Sales revenue has amounted to PLN 15.5 million to date, which in the annual plan was set at PLN 20 million – also likely to be exceeded. Next year promises to be even better. The company is already building a sales portfolio for 2012. It includes a first order from the whole package amounting to EUR 1.5 million for making 42 boat davits. Successful development strategy implementation and ever better results are good news for the company in the context of the planned 2012-2016 NewConnect debut.

On 26 and 27 October 2011 Global Clean Energy Forum - one of more important European trade conferences, attended by Jacek Banach - the President of Management Board of Expom SA, took place in Barcelona. This conference is devoted to discussions regarding climate change, renewable energy sources and financing of new project in this field. Over 300 participants from approx. 30 countries participated in the event. Mr. Banach managed to establish potential long-term relations at this year's conference, owing to which Expom S.A. will be given an opportunity to enter another potential sector of industry, namely the market of electric vehicles. |

September general repair of Expom S.A. production hall in Kurzętnik was completed. Total cost of the project amounted to PLN 57 thousand.Within the framework of works, which lasted 11 weeks and were performed by 6 persons, the old unnecessary construction elements were removed, the surfaces of walls, ceiling and floor were primed and reinforced, the hall was painted, machines were upgraded, tool cabinets and some windows were exchanged and the repair of power system, piping system and technical gas system was performed. New LCD screens and scanners for reading out bar codes of production recommendations were instaleld.

Expom SA summed up the financial results for the first half of 2011. During this period, the value of the company's sales reached PLN 9.5 million. Net profit amounted to PLN 0.5 million. By the end of the year, the company expects to significantly exceed the results of previous years, as sales are expected to reach a value of more than PLN 20 million

In early June Expom SA received an order to produce drilling equipment components for the search and extraction of shale gas from one of the world’s leaders in the oil and gas industry, Weatherford (USA). Thanks to this contract Expom SA, in accordance with the adopted development strategy, introduced the new gas and oil industry to its scope of activities. Work on this project lasted more than 8 months. |

On 5th - 6th July 2011, during the 15th edition of CleanTech Summit & Exhibition in Tel Aviv in Israel, the President of the Management Board of Expom SA, Jacek Banach, signed the letter of intent with the representatives of the Israeli company Smart Wind Ltd. Within the framework of the said letter, the companies committed themselves to establish cooperation which assumes that Expom SA will act as business partner of Smart Wind Ltd. in the scope of production of small wind turbines at the area of the whole Europe. |

On 21st and 22nd June the representatives of Expom SA visited the 8th edition of the international conference Renewable Energy Finance Forum (REFF), which took place in New York (USA). This is one of the most important industry events focusing approx. 700 participants from over 23 countries every year - representatives of renewable energy sector, financial institutions and consulting companies. Owing to the presence at the conference, Expom SA representatives managed to establish prospective contacts with the representatives of American and European companies, which may result in new projects in the area of renewable energy, which the company intends to implement in Poland. |

In the second half of May, Expom SA extended its offer to include engineering and research & development services. This became possible thanks to the purchase and deployment of Dell workstations with software for performing strength calculations using the Finite Element Method (FEM) contained in the Creo Elements / Pro system (formerly Pro / ENGINEER, Pro / Mechanica). The implementation of the Creo Elements / Pro system is being conducted with support from 3D PRO Sp. z o. o. Lodz. |

Offshore Technology Conference & Exhibition w Houston, Texas (USA) took place on 2-5 May being the most important conference and trade exhibition in the world. The conference was attended, among others, by Mr. Jacek Banach, the President of the Executive Board of Expom S.A. Every year the event attracts 65 thousand people. During the event the most modern and groundbreaking technological solutions concerning the offshore sector are presented and discussed. Within the course of this year’s conference Mr. Banach managed to establish prospective contacts with American companies of the gas and oils sector as well as the sector of wind energy, thanks to which Expom S.A. will have a chance for a development in strategic for it fields – renewable energy as well as the sector of searching for and output of unconventional gas (shale gas and tight gas) in Poland. |

According to the report ordered by the Kurzętnik-based Expom S.A. company from the Renewable Energy Institute, this market is in its early phase of growth. It faces many challenges, but also has great perspectives and development opportunities. The most promising group of consumers are the farmers. At present, there only are a few companies that manufacture professional and proven MEW elements, and here Expom S.A. sees the opportunity for themselves, in order to start, in accordance with the chosen strategy, production of the MEW elements in collaboration with an experienced foreign partner.
