Tests
We have a station for static and dynamic tests of boat davits with SWL (Save Work Load) from 900 to 24000 kg for prototype testing in extreme conditions required by the IMO and SOLAS regulations. The station consists of a 14 m log, 3m wide and 4,5 m deep pit and a reinforced concrete slab with mounted foundation frame intended for fastening the tested davits. A second frame with an inclined plate for fastening davits is mounted on the foundation frame. The device is equipped with lifting appliances: two gantry cranes with lifting capacity of 8 tons each. In addition, it can be operated by a mobile crane with lifting capacity of 16 or even more than 50 tons. The station is equipped with the 75 kW Hitachi inverter, designed to supply davits electric installation with other than normal voltage at the frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The position is also fitted out with network electrical power supply 3x400V with the power up to 100kW, a hydraulic power supply with the pressure of 250 bars and capacity up to 200l/min. and compressed air at a pressure of 6 bars. It also has a set of weights weighing from 100kg to 15 tons, used for loading davits during tests. Two electronic scales of weighing range up to 30 tons enable accurate load measurement during static and dynamic tests. Measurement chamber allows for protection of electronic measuring devices against adverse weather conditions. The station can also be used for testing individual rope hoists with SWL from 900kg to 24000kg. Protective barriers, a ladder, and platform grates provide for safe operation of the station.
